The Wall for Nepal is a fundraising campaign organised by Alexander Adventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12302708, of Tanfield Lea Industrial Estate, Stanley, Co Durham, DH9 9UU.

Alexander Adventures is not a registered charity. Donations made through this website are made to the campaign, not to a registered charity. They are not eligible for Gift Aid and are not tax-deductible.

• Donations are processed by Stripe. We never hold your card details.
• Donations are non-refundable except at our discretion. If you have donated in error, email us as soon as you can and we will do our best to sort it out.
• All money raised goes towards supporting the people and communities of Nepal. See where the money goes.
• Alexander Adventures takes nothing from your donation. No part of it is used for the costs of running the campaign or the challenge.
• The only deduction is the card processing fee charged by Stripe, which is taken before the money reaches us. On a UK card that is 1.5% plus 20p, so a £25 donation arrives as £24.42. Cards issued outside the UK cost more. We cannot waive this: it is Stripe’s charge for handling the payment, not ours.

• The £250 is not an entry fee. It is the minimum amount you commit to raising or donating for the campaign if you join an organised walking section.
• You can raise it through sponsorship, donate it yourself, combine the two, or raise more.
• If you pay your £250 by card at registration, it is treated as a donation and the same terms apply.
• If you register intending to raise the £250 and then do not take part, we will not pursue you for it, but please tell us as early as you can so we can offer your place to someone else.

• Participation is at your own risk. You must read and accept the participant declaration before registering.
• You are responsible for your own suitability, fitness, equipment and safety, and for following the instructions of the Alexander Adventures support team on the day.
• You must be 18 or over to register independently. Under-18s may take part only when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian, who takes responsibility for them.
• We may refuse or withdraw a place, including on the day, where we reasonably believe it is unsafe for you or for others.

• Route, joining points, timings, distances and the finish time are provisional and will change. Nothing on this site marked “to be confirmed” should be relied on.
• This is a continuous, long-distance challenge. Joe’s progress will determine when he reaches each point, and we cannot guarantee any arrival or finish time.
• We may change or cancel the event, or any section of it, for reasons including weather, safety, access, illness or injury. If we do, donations already made still go to the campaign.

Photographs and video may be taken during the event and used by Alexander Adventures to promote the campaign. If you would rather not appear, tell the support team on the day and we will respect it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, Alexander Adventures is not liable for loss or damage arising from your participation, from changes to the event, or from your own equipment or belongings.
