Questions

The things people ask

If the answer you need isn’t here, get in touch. We would rather you asked.

The campaign

A fundraising challenge organised by Alexander Adventures. Joe walks from Carlisle Castle to the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle in one continuous push, to raise money for the people and communities of Nepal affected by the devastating flooding.

Joining in

Yes. Throughout Sunday 27 September there will be designated joining points where people can join a section of the route. You do not need to walk the whole way.

The £250 commitment

There is no entry fee. Anyone joining one of the organised walking sections commits to raising or donating a minimum of £250 for Nepal.

Donating

Absolutely, and it helps just as much. You can donate any amount from the donate page.

On the day

Walking boots or suitable trail shoes, a waterproof jacket and trousers, a warm layer, a small rucksack, water, snacks and a fully charged phone. Anyone joining an early-morning or evening section will also need a head torch. Full joining instructions will be sent before the event.
